HeatSpring Membership is a bundle of learning opportunities that would otherwise cost a lot more. Here's what you get:

1. Extended access to paid courses. All of our courses come with 1-year of unlimited access. Sometimes people get busy and don't finish, but they don't want to pay for the class again. This is original reason we created HeatSpring membership. Now you can pay the small monthly fee for as long as you need to finish the class and get your certificate of completion.
2. Certificates of completion for all free courses. We have lots of teams that use our free courses for learning and professional development. If earning certificates of completion help with tracking and motivation, then membership is a really affordable tool to get better results for your team.
3. Member access to premium courses. With membership you get access to a bunch of premium courses that you would normally have to pay a lot more to take. Sometimes they carry CEUs. We try to add a new course every month to keep it fresh. Here's more about how this works.

Membership is intended to lower the barrier to learning so you can make professional development a regular habit.

Yes! One benefit of HeatSpring Membership is free access to certain premium (paid) courses.

When your membership is active, you can enroll in these courses at no additional cost. After you enroll, you will have access to that course for as long as your membership is active. If your membership expires, your access to that course will expire. If you re-activate your membership, you will re-activate your access to that course.

The list of courses available to you as a member will change over time. You need to ‘claim’ the courses you want to take by enrolling into the course. If you don’t enroll into the course during the time it is being offered, we can’t retroactively provide you with access to that course.

Yes. Team training leaders can purchase a HeatSpring Membership for any teammate directly from the dashboard.

Login to HeatSpring, click My Team in the top right, and go to the Teammates tab in the left side menu. Click on a teammate's name to open their profile, and you'll see the option to Buy Membership from there. Your team discount will be applied automatically.

Team memberships include all the same benefits as individual memberships: extended access to paid courses, free access to member courses, and the ability to download certificates for free courses.

HeatSpring Members can update the credit card number on file for the subscription. Just log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin then click "My Account" at the top right. Then, navigate to your membership page by clicking "Membership" located towards the top left where you will click the "View Subscription Details" link.. Then click the "update card" button next to the card details.

Credit card transactions are processed securely with Stripe. All credit card data is passed directly to Stripe and stored in their vault and HeatSpring never stores nor sees credit card numbers.

Updating your credit card through your HeatSpring account will update the card on file in the Stripe vault to be used for the monthly subscription charges. HeatSpring will also send out notification emails if a charge to your card fails with a quick link to update the card from the email. Updating your card through either method is acceptable.

HeatSpring Members can now download pdf copies of their subscription receipts in their account. Just log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin then click "My Account" at the top right. Then, navigate to your charges page by clicking "Charges" located towards the top left. There you can click the "View receipt" button for every previous charge.

New Feature: Emailed Receipts

HeatSpring members can now opt-in to emailed receipts each time the card is charged. To opt in to emailed receipts, click "My Account." Then, navigate to your membership page by clicking "Membership" located towards the top left where you will click the "View Subscription Details" link. Then click the button "change setting" next to the Emailed Receipt section.

When you're logged into the website, this page will show you a personalized list of courses you'll get access to:

It's a combination of all courses you've ever signed up for, plus the premium courses being offered to members at that time.

HeatSpring Membership can be cancelled easily online anytime in just 3 clicks. Just log into your account at https://heatspring.com/signin then click "My Account" at the top right. Then, navigate to your membership page by clicking "Membership" located towards the top left where you will click the "View Subscription Details" link. At the bottom of that page, click the "Request Cancellation" button then the "Cancel Subscription" button.

You will receive an email confirmation that your subscription has been cancelled. Your HeatSpring Membership will remain active until the end of your current period.

You can reactivate your subscription anytime in the future and continue where you left off, however HeatSpring Membership pricing is subject to change without an active subscription.

HeatSpring PRO is a premium subscription that gives you access to 15+ specialized courses organized into four learning paths: Energy Storage PRO, Solar Service PRO, Building Systems PRO, and Skilled Sales PRO.

Complete all courses within a track and pass the final exam to earn your badge. Your PRO subscription includes unlimited access to all four learning tracks and the opportunity to earn all four proficiency badges, leading to a final Integrated Energy Systems PRO badge.

HeatSpring proficiency badges demonstrate a commitment to professional development and validate the holder’s knowledge of emerging industry trends.

How to earn a badge?

• Demonstrate knowledge by passing the final exam

What can badge holders do?

• Support licensed professionals in their work
• Pursue additional licensing and certification

What does a badge NOT do?

• Replace required professional licenses or certifications
• Qualify the holder to work outside their licensed scope
• Guarantee technical competency for all related work
• Serve as professional liability coverage

A HeatSpring proficiency badge is not a certification or license. HeatSpring proficiency badges demonstrate completion of professional development training and knowledge acquisition.

Badge holders must still obtain appropriate licenses, insurance, and certifications required in their jurisdiction.

HeatSpring reserves the right to revoke badges if holders misrepresent their scope, make false claims about licensing equivalency, or otherwise misuse the credential.

Absolutely. You can complete the courses in whichever order makes the most sense for you and your learning journey. 

HeatSpring does make a recommendation for course sequences based on the content of each learning path, but it’s just a suggestion. Feel free to make this program your own!

Individual courses can still be purchased separately, and not all HeatSpring courses are included in PRO.

HeatSpring PRO was designed to maximize your professional development investment. Instead of buying courses one at a time, PRO gives you access to our most in-demand content across four critical specializations - delivering tons of value while building comprehensive expertise in the areas that matter most for your career advancement.

The final exam becomes available once you've completed all courses in your learning path. Here's what to expect:

Exam Structure

• 50 questions total
• 80% passing score required
• Questions change with each attempt (you won't see the exact same exam twice)

If You Don't Pass After three unsuccessful attempts, there's a mandatory one-week study period before you can retake the exam. Use this time to review the courses that were most challenging for you, then return refreshed and ready for your next attempt.

No, your badges don't expire. You will be able to see your earned badges and share them publicly, even if your subscription is no longer active.

You'll have access to all PRO courses and content as long as your PRO subscription is active. When your subscription expires, access to PRO content ends immediately.

Good news: You can cancel anytime, and if you decide to rejoin later, we'll remember your progress. All your completed courses, badges, and learning history will be restored and waiting for you.

You can easily cancel your PRO subscription anytime directly from your account page.

If you have a monthly subscription, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

If you have an annual subscription and cancel early, you'll retain full access to HeatSpring PRO through the end of your prepaid year. This ensures you get maximum value from your investment and can continue learning and earning badges until your subscription term expires. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable and not prorated.

No, team discounts don't apply to individual PRO subscriptions. PRO is already priced as an incredible value with access to 15+ premium courses, verified proficiency badges, and expert content.
