The HeatSpring platform is a Ruby on Rails app and is currently using Ruby 3.1.3 on Rails 184.108.40.206. We have always written our own code and developed and managed our application ourselves internally. We rely heavily on open source software like Ruby, Rails and Ruby gems. HeatSpring co-founder Duncan Miller is our lead Ruby developer.
We use Stripe for all credit card processing and all credit card data is stored exclusively with Stripe using their PCI compliant secure process. We never see or retain any credit card data within our servers and all credit card data is stored within Stripe's secure vault.
The use of technology such as cookies allows HeatSpring to operate and improve the functionality of our website and derive insights about our audience.
