I've yet to take the test, but I do feel ready for it. I'm more prepared now than I was prior to this course.

The Heatspring Solar PV 40-hour Advanced Certification Training was a crucial resource for leveling up my knowledge in the quickly developing solar industry. I am far more confident in my work as a solar operations lead, and can apply it in many different areas throughout the industry. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is taking their training seriously and wants to pursue a career in solar.

Excellent course and excellent value. Note that while it's listed as a 16 hour course, that's referring to 16 hours of video time. There is also reading, tests, and studying that are not included in that.

I feel that anyone involved in PV in the US would benefit greatly by taking this course.

Sean White's PV Boot Camp is an excellent resource for anyone looking to dive deep into the world of photovoltaics. The course material is well-structured and covers everything from the basics of solar energy to advanced system design concepts. With Sean's expert guidance and hands-on training, I was able to gain the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the solar industry. I learned so much taking this course, it is a lot of information, but Sean does an excellent job of explaining what, where, and why things are in the PV industry. Whether you are already in the industry or looking to make the jump I can't recommend this course enough. I feel extremely confident about taking the exam after having took this course.

This online course is the best of both worlds. The videos allow you to work at your own pace, but the instructor is always able to be reached and is very eager to answer questions or just talk solar.

This course has it all! from safety to sizing with history though out.

practice exams were amazing -- you can tell Sean is one of the people who helped create this test.

I would have no chance of passing this exam without this course. The practice exams and explanations are great ways to make sure I'm accurately applying the information I'm learning. I passed the first practice exam I took, which really reduced my fear and stress surrounding the exam. Super grateful for the information I learned!

I can't imagine there is a more qualified instructor who is equally able to relay information is such a retainable as Sean White. Access or review any course material anytime anywhere. Save time researching available PVA courses across the US and run with Sean's.

I won't know how effective the course is until I take the exam.

This course is not only good for getting the NABCEP PVIP. It also prepares you to pass electrical exams for Master, or Journeyman. I highly recommend this course.

I highly recommend this NABCEP PVIP training course by Sean White/Bill Brooks. I have really learned alot and nothing beats direct training from industry experts with in depth knowledge/experience of the NEC and what's required for passing NABCEP Exams...so get enrolled!!!

Great intro to PV have already used information from this class during meetings and projects at work as a Solar land entitlement project manager.

I took this course a total beginner at solar technology. This course helps me a lot to understand the technology on a smoothest way and enjoy it the same time.

Would prefer to be anonymous: The instructor was very knowledgeable and engaging and the self paced format allowed me to work at my own pace and let the information sink in.

Sean White is a great teacher and did a wonderful job explaining the course material. Sean takes the time to respond to comments/questions every day. He truly takes the time to help his students, even though it is virtual. The practice exams and quizzes were also great.

I would recommend Sean White to anyone who wants to go into the solar industry and energy storage systems. Simply fantastic!

I really value my education with Heatspring for many reasons. First, I get to learn about many things I never knew about. Another reason is that the teacher here really care about you and your education. Also, I have a lot of chances to make up work during the week. Tutoring is also available this program (free lessons) for those students who don’t understand something, Sean always encourage us to ASK questions he get back to you always! It was an excellence choice to start with Sean.

I really enjoyed taking this course, in which I learned a lot from the basics to advanced information on the solar systems, Batteries and electricity in general. Very thankful, I now on my path to take the exam and I feel very confident based on the material that Sean has put together. Thank you.

I would absolutely recommend this course.

As someone who has some experience with installation, but who is still learning, this course really helped make sense of the National Electric Code and brought my understanding to a whole different level. In addition to all of the materials, having access to Sean via the discussion forum where you can ask any questions you can think up was also really valuable. I'm feeling much more prepared to take the NABCEP exam than I was when I started.

My knowledge of PV design has increased immensely by taking this course. I would suggest it to anyone pursuing a career in Solar.

Seans program does an excellent job encompassing a great overall learning experience for people with various work/life exposure. You can walk away from this class speaking and calculating with confidence.

If you're just starting out in Solar PV or are switching your career path to solar, this course is going to give you the real info that people in the solar industry deal with every day, AND help you pass the N.A.B.C.E.P. P.V.I.P. exam.

Awesome class for knowledge fundamentals about solar installations. Key sections include PV string sizing, energy modeling calcs, and advanced energy modeling, shading losses, and system loss calcs!

As an electrical PE, I found the course to be a useful, though inefficient, way to gain an understanding of basic solar PV design and troubleshooting. Judging from the sophistication of the material, It appears that the target population lacks basic math skills and struggles with abstract concepts. The tedious repetition and plodding pace made me wish for a 3X speed choice on the videos.
