Solar Landscape's Green Ambassador Program

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in our Green Ambassador program (GAP). Our hope is that through the the knowledge you gain about green energy and sustainability, you will be inspired become a positive change-maker and leader of tomorrow. By participating in this program, you already are taking steps in that direction! Over the next few weeks, you will have the opportunity to view 5 modules centered around green energy. Each module has a video with a corresponding quiz. Some of the modules include supplemental resources to support your learning. The modules are self paced and you can view them when it works best for you, as long as you complete all by April 27, 2024. *You will need to complete the webinars to register for the scholarship challenge; the form to register is in module 7.* After completing the modules, you will be eligible to compete in the Community Sustainability Challenge. What are the environmental impacts and some alternatives? Throughout this webinar, we will explore how electricity is generated and the implications on our environment and global economy.

Peer into a day in the life of a green energy professional! This module will help guide students toward gaining a better understanding of the pathways available to enter the green energy industry. You will hear and learn directly from experts in the green energy industry; from business development and marketing to operations and installation.

Listen in on what it takes to become the CEO of the leading developer of Community Solar in New Jersey! For this module, we have an interview with Shaun Keegan, the Co-Founder, and CEO of Solar Landscape. Shaun will provide all of the details of how our company, Solar Landscape has grown into the leading developer of Community Solar within the state and how Solar Landscape became ranked in the top 100 nationwide!

Now that you have completed the content for the Green Ambassador Program - viewed each webinar and completed the respective quizzes. You are now eligible for the Community Sustainability Challenge! In this module, we will cover the details of what the challenge consists of, how to compete in it, project submission, and details for the scholarship!
