About this course

This 3-hour course, led by Mayfield Renewables Founder and CEO Ryan Mayfield, covers the sections of the 2023 NEC that are most relevant to solar PV systems.

This is the third of a 3-part series for complete coverage of the 2023 NEC. Part 1 reviewed the early sections of the NEC and introduced Article 690. Part 2 wrapped up the key sections of Article 690.

In Part 3 of the series, instructor Ryan Mayfield walks through Articles 450, 691, 705, and 750, including:
  • Requirements for large-scale PV systems
  • Source connections to a service
  • Load-side source connections
  • PV and transformer overcurrent protection
  • Microgrids and energy management systems

You can begin this online course instantly upon enrollment. This 1 module course is delivered entirely online. This course is self-paced and you can set your own schedule to complete the materials. You can begin the lecture videos and other course materials as soon as you enroll. During your year of access the instructor will be in the course answering questions on the discussion board every Friday. After successfully completing the course, you will be able to generate a certificate of completion.
How long do I have access to the materials?
