Enrolling in the solar energy program I was excited and nervous. I know this would be a great a career path but I wasn’t sure if it would be something I would’ve been able to pick up on and be so enthusiastic about. After reviewing the modules in the learning path everything was covered and explained wonderful.

This was an extremely thorough treatment of the material on the NABCEP PV Associate test. Like all tests, passing is the student's responsibility but that student must first have the content laid before them and be guided through it by an engaged and experienced instructor. This course does both things well.

This course has provided an excellent opportunity to explore the NEC in greater depth. As a PV Design Engineer, it has helped me gain a clearer understanding of the underlying principles behind many of the concepts I encounter daily in plan sets. Thanks Sean!

I procrastinated terribly, but honestly the course is great! A steady up-tempo pace and lots of relevant repetition help the videos to flow and the information to stick. Don't wait to dig in! There's so much information and tons of extra resources to come back to repeatedly even after you pass your test!

The learning materials and practice exams offered through this course easily make it a worth while purchase. If you're serious about getting into Solar because you find the topic and field interesting, you will truly enjoy this course as much as I have.

Over all my years of taking online classes for NABCEP CEU's This has been the most enjoyable and comprehensive class I have taken. Even more than when I use to give classes as an IREC Master Trainer.

Actually I have run a solar installation team in Asia. I followed only manufacturers' instructions during installation of solar systems. After this NABCEP associate exam prep in HeatSpring, I have known about much more information and data about solar PV. I have decided to take some more courses about solar PV in HeatSpring.

Sean designed a great course. I was engaged the whole time and was able to power through hours of videos at a time because of how engaging they were. He shares a lot of pictures and real world experiences which helped me grasp the topics easier. He also threw in a bunch of jokes which I was laughing at throughout the course. Then you have Bill Brooks who is an expert on the code making panel actually breaking down the reasons why there are certain codes and recommendations on how to follow them. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to take their NABCEP exam.

add hints on all of the questions, as there were only 2 practice exams with hints and even the second one was just a Wikipedia page telling us the answer. Actual hints that wouldn't give the answer away but rather help the user would be great. Other than that, it is great.

Sean and Bill are fantastic! Becoming a proficient PV installation, designer and overall expert takes a lot of work and a lot of studying; not to mention, a lot of practice. These guys make it fun, informative, and exciting! I mean who doesn't want to learn how to make FIRE with solar panels or was it how to NOT make FIRE! Anyhow, the content and presentation are 5 star A+ material!

Well worth the money spent, and no, my employer didn't buy my class. I am pursuing my NABCEP C&M Specialist Cert and not only was this course a milestone in that pursuit, I also picked up a ton of extra knowledge I didn't expect to gain. This course can help give you the confidence many "advanced" technicians lack, and if not, at least give you the knowledge to be able to search for the answer to the issue you are trying to solve.

Great way to get in-depth knowledge on solar PV and the NEC, particularly for passing the PVIP exam. Self-pace approach is a great feature.
