About this course

This 15-hour course digs into how the 2026 National Electrical Code applies to photovoltaic systems. Sean White and Bill Brooks walk you through the updates, breaking down a dense technical manual into something you can actually work with. You'll get detailed analysis of the 2026 changes, practical interpretation of how the code applies to real PV installations, and comparisons with previous editions so you can see what's shifted since the last cycle.

Recommended with the course is Sean and Bill's 2026 NEC book, "The PV NEC Book: Mastering Code With Comedy", which we hope to release sooner than later alligator.

Bill is the key PV industry person writing the NEC. Whenever there is a disagreement among the top experts, Bill will pour light on how to interpret the code, since there is a good chance he wrote it, or at least helped write it.

Sean, besides studying the NEC, study comedy, so that you will have fun and remember what others traditionally make boring. Since laughing🤣 helps you learn code, it therefore prevents fires🔥 and it prevents you from getting fired!
