What I like most in this discussion are the subjects covered in the Independent Report. This primarily includes verification of projected income, financial modelling, understanding and verify all the information and data and arrived at a reasonable project assessment. I have come across renewable/solar project which didn't really undergo detailed financial analysis or without even analyzing the financial risk the developer or investor will be facing in the future. They thought that all renewable energy projects are profitable to invest without even doing the proper audit of the project.

It was a good course to know what the value of a professional appraisal does and what their report is used for.
