The primary goal of this course is to teach you safe rigging techniques that reduce the risk of accidents and injuries. You will learn about types of rigging equipment, common signals and work practices, and how to properly select and utilize protective equipment. After you complete this course, you will be prepared to:

  • Identify and use proper protective equipment and procedures when rigging loads
  • Engage in safe work practices when raising, moving and lowering a crane’s load

  • Determine the appropriate emergency response actions for common crane and rigging incidents based on the conditions presented.
