About this course

Welcome to Mayfield Renewables’ course on the 2020 and 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for solar-plus-storage systems!

This 3-hour course consists of 10 lessons. This first lesson sets the foundation for the rest of the course: Instructor Ryan Mayfield overviews the key learning objectives and introduces the visual aids referenced throughout lessons 2 through 10.

The course is self-paced and can be taken at any point within 12 months of enrollment. During that time, you will have access to the course videos and all course materials, including a copy of the presentation with easy-to-understand system schematics highlighting which NEC Articles apply to which points within a solar + storage system architecture.

About Mayfield Renewables' Solar + Storage Workshop Series:
The next course in this series is 2023 NFPA 855 and Fire Code Requirements for Energy Storage Systems. Both courses are offered together in the 2023 Electrical & Fire Codes for Energy Storage Systems Bundle.

The courses are designed to be taken as a sequence for a more holistic approach to solar + storage learning or taken a la carte for industry professionals with significant experience in specific subject areas.
