I love solar

Seans program does an excellent job encompassing a great overall learning experience for people with various work/life exposure. You can walk away from this class speaking and calculating with confidence.

Awesome class for knowledge fundamentals about solar installations. Key sections include PV string sizing, energy modeling calcs, and advanced energy modeling, shading losses, and system loss calcs!

As an electrical PE, I found the course to be a useful, though inefficient, way to gain an understanding of basic solar PV design and troubleshooting. Judging from the sophistication of the material, It appears that the target population lacks basic math skills and struggles with abstract concepts. The tedious repetition and plodding pace made me wish for a 3X speed choice on the videos.

I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to take the exam and or learn the basics of solar and start getting into the field. Add the convenience or completing the course at your own pass with the timely responses from a "live" instructor to be able to get any and all questions answers is an excellent combination. An excellent introduction to the solar industry

I recommend this course to all the professionals and students who are in the field of solar energy. I passed my exam in the first go and all the credit goes to my mentor Sean White. The technical aspects which you learn in the course will really helps you to enhance your career in the field of solar energy because heat spring and Sean white has put lot a of hard work in designing the course. I have been installing residential solar for the past two years. I'm the crew lead for my city. I thought I knew a lot about solar ( I knew enough to get the job passed and complete). After taking JUST the 18 hour portion of this, I realized I didn't!!! I'm feeling much more confident in my career just after the 18 hours. Deciding to take the NABCEP course was the best idea I've ever had. I took this course to better my self in the field I work in. I cant wait for the next 40 hours.

If you take this class, you will not regret. Getting my NABCEP will change my life!

This is such a great course to prepare for the NABCEP PV Associate exam. I'm not sure I'd be able to pass without the help of Solar Sean!

I took another class from another organization and was just not properly prepared for the NABCEP exam like I am now. I am jacked!

I recommend getting NABCEP certified and the best way of doing that is by taking this class first. There are many practice exams that are spot on. Also, the instructor's manner was fun and made the class enjoyable. I feel like I have a new friend. You can tell he puts a lot of time into his material.

This practice test was well made and gave me a lot of confidence to take the NABCEP test. If you're looking for a free way to gauge your knowledge on the NABCEP test, here is your best shot!

I really enjoyed the PV Associate course which has helped me to now understand all the aspects, if not, the most important ones about the PV industry and the reasoning behind this emerging technology. I have applied everything I learned on this course to the point that I helped a good friend of mine with a grid-tied PV system installation on his residential home and since the second month of the PV system being installed, he has not paid any $ to the utility company. This means a lot to me by ensuring that everything learned from this course really works in real world environment. I would really recommend this course for those looking to get into this business.

Professor White went in-depth into the topics covered by the NABCEP Associate Exam and beyond. His online lectures are engaging and are filled with real-life examples that help connect technical concepts with practical utility. On top of that, his sense of humor elevated the material and kept me engaged in ways that other online courses struggle to do. After taking this course, I feel way more prepared for the NABCEP Associate Exam and entering the solar field.

I've been employed in Oil & Gas for 10 years... currently making the pivot into renewables. This class was an excellent grounding in PV and has allowed me to better understand the not only the basics but also the PV market and current technologies (among other things). Highly recommended.

I recommend this course to understand the PV world at the entry level and a bit beyond. Once you go over this course, the logic of how things work will be there, it is now just putting things to practice to become an expert.

There are many options to gain PV knowledge at a variety of price points (his is in the middle), but it was important that I learn from a 'guru', who not only has the applied, real-world experienced background with technical expertise and knowledge, but I wanted to learn from someone who's passion REALLY IS PV... Sean's no dinosaur, but he's been in this industry before I was born ('83), but he's still in the top handful who are at the bleeding edge of its current state. It's his passion and it certainly comes through in the way he teaches. I'd say Sean is of the handful who not only write the books (literally) on the subject, but knows how to be a top-notch educator, and loves doing it too!

Even if you are not planning on taking the exam I strongly recommend this course. It can be a refreshing class for us who already know a thing or two about electricity and a great source of new and clear information for this ever changing industry.

I highly recommend to take this course if you want take a certification exam.

Until recently the solar industry has become a practical and necessary part of our economy. Before I took this course I knew a fair amount about solar design and installations. What makes this course so great is that whether you are in your first or tenth year in the solar industry, everything you need to know to work in solar is explained. My personal favorites were the history of photovoltaics and understanding interpretations of the electrical code. If I had known this course was going to be anything like the way it is, I would have signed up for it years ago. Awesome class! Thanks HeatSpring.

Dr. Sean White's Associate prep course is a must-do for serious exam goers, if they'd like to experience a fun way of preparing for the exam's content !

This class is very well designed and presented. It was exactly what I needed to become informed and aware of all the great opportunities drones can offer. The Part 107 preparation segments and multiple practice tests are absolutely essential if you are planning to pass this challenging exam. This course helped answer the questions I didn't know to ask about how to design and install solar energy systems, and put them in context.

I can't believe how convenient and efficient this material was to learn. Half-way through this course I received a preliminary sales call from a customer who was interested in off-grid. Already with what I had learned, I was able to answer his questions much more authoritatively. Super grateful Sean and Hotsprings! Can't wait to get started on my Advanced Training!
