About
Spencer Rosen is a leading home energy educator, thought leader, and software designer with two decades of experience spanning energy efficiency, building science, solar, storage, and electrification. He holds more than 10 certifications in home energy and construction, has conducted over 1,000 home energy audits, completed more than 100 whole-home energy projects, and trained tens of thousands of homeowners and professionals through courses delivered with California utilities and online.
As founder of Home Energy Academy, Spencer develops and delivers cutting-edge training and tools that translate complex building science into clear, actionable steps for both homeowners and professionals. He previously held influential roles at Enphase Energy, where he co-invented patented software for solar and storage system design and received two innovation awards, and has he led his own company, Energy Integrity Inc., transforming existing homes to be efficient, comfortable, safe, all-electric, and powered by solar and storage. Spencer was also recently nominated to the Board of Directors of the Building Performance Institute.
