Mr. Yousef has over twenty five years of comprehensive building heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) & energy systems experience. He supports customers in the areas of energy savings performance contracts, energy audits, peak load reduction, building optimization, Measurement and Verification (M&V), commissioning (Cx), system inspections, end-use data validation, analysis and verification, system troubleshooting, quality assurance/control (QA/QC), energy master planning, engineering economics, advanced biomass heating systems, thermal energy storage, air-source, water-source and geothermal heat pump closed (and open) loop systems, cogeneration, district heating and cooling systems, electrification & decarbonization, NYSERDA programs support, and independent technology and energy program support and evaluations. Utilizes the above expertise and experience to provide relevant training in a wide variety of energy and technical subjects, brings significant hands-on experience to support both classroom and on the job training and coaching to a wide range of customers, consultants and contractors.

Mr. Yousef served on the New York State Energy Planning Board as a Member & Representative of the Temporary President of the NYS Senate 2010-2011. He is a licensed NYS PE (Mechanical Engineering), Member of ASHRAE, AEE, IGSHPA, USGBC LEED Accredited Professional, and served as an Advisory Council Member for the New York Collaborative of High Performance Schools (NY-CHPS). He is a recipient of multiple ASHRAE awards for performance in ASHRAE chapter officer positions. Completed attendance of the “Certified GeoExchange Designer Course” from February to April 2016. He holds an M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (Building Energy Systems Engineering specialty) from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the K.F. Univ. of Petroleum & Minerals.
