This work is about people -- beginning with empathy and a deep understanding of the learner and continuing with the organization of cross-functional teams of subject matter experts, technologists, managers, and designers. My relational style of leadership and design aims to bring the best out of people for people.
I'm a designer focused on process and quality. The right approach is research and evidence-based and accounts for learner needs, a team's strengths, differences in client needs, and business goals.
I'm an educator focused on learner success. My love for this work sprouts from a clear and constant focus on the learner. Through the daily deliverables, I always strive to see the ways we will inspire, empower, and educate the learner on the other end. As much as possible, I believe learners should have opportunities to do and make things relevant to their lives and immediate needs.
