HeatSpring CORE is a self-paced training program for workers who are new to the electrical trades. It covers everything from safety to circuits to reading construction drawings — aligned to the NCCER Electrical Level 1 curriculum.
CORE follows the NCCER Electrical Level 1 curriculum — the same framework used by apprenticeship programs across the country.
Who is HeatSpring CORE for?
For employers onboarding new workers: CORE gives your newest team members a consistent foundation before they're expected to know things on the job. It's self-paced, so workers can complete it on their own time without pulling your experienced people off the tools to babysit.
For pre-apprentices: If you're working toward getting into an apprenticeship program, CORE helps you arrive ready. You'll understand the materials, the vocabulary, and the structure of the work — which makes a difference when employers are deciding who to select.
For current apprentices: If you're already in a program, CORE modules are a solid supplement for Unpaid Related Instruction (URI) hours or for reinforcing what you're learning in class.
