ELECTRICAL Level 3 Apprentice (Third Year)
Energize US offers a 4-year electrical apprenticeship curriculum for employer sponsors. The curriculum is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). The program - when paired with on-the-job training (OJT) - prepares apprentices to sit for the Journeyman exam.
Topics - Advanced Apprentice
- Advanced conduit bending and installation techniques.
- Service panels, transformers, and grounding methods.
- NEC calculations for different systems (load calculations, box fill, etc.).
- Introduction to motor controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Working more independently on job sites with minimal supervision.
- 5,000-6,000 OJT hours completed.
