ELECTRICAL Level 2 Apprentice (Second Year)

Energize US offers a 4-year electrical apprenticeship curriculum for employer sponsors. The curriculum is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). The program - when paired with on-the-job training (OJT) - prepares apprentices to sit for the Journeyman exam.

Topics

  • More advanced electrical theory (Ohm’s Law, voltage drop, etc.).
  • Installation of conduits (EMT, PVC, and rigid) and wiring methods.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Introduction to commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • More hands-on work under supervision, troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • 3,000-4,000 OJT hours accumulated.
