About this course

There's been an incredible amount of hype about the 'Future Hydrogen Economy' and how this colorless, odorless, tasteless gas could be one of the central pillars of the global decarbonization effort... but with all that hype, there's a lot of low quality information going around as well.

The Hydrogen Economy is very real - it's a multi-billion dollar industry today, and it has the potential to be a serious player in a low carbon future... but we need the industry to be well educated and upskilled in the basics. It also has the potential to grow into a fifteen trillion dollar a year industry by 2050 - so there is serious money to be made for those with the right foundation.

This course is built to support your growth - it's not too far in the weeds that you need a PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, but far more detailed and thorough than what you'll find from a quick google search. Taught by an experienced energy professional - Andy Nyce - who has over 2GW of renewables experience in the US, along with other successful Heatspring Courses and a multifaceted background in energy efficiency, renewables and hydrogen.

If you've ever wondered what the 'hydrogen rainbow' is, how fuel cells work, what an electrolyzer is, how ammonia is one of the most critical chemicals in modern society, what opportunities are going to arise in this industry in the future, and how you can make an impact on ensuring that hydrogen is clean, cheap and widely utilized - then this course is for you.
