String Sizing can be a slight nightmare of math for students. Sean used this course to chase away the Terror Monster.

I really liked the course because it’s well structured and practical. Even though English is not my native language, I was still able to follow it — sometimes my brain had to translate first 😄 — but at the end of the day, numbers don’t speak English or Spanish, so the formulas and calculations were easy to understand and apply.

This course is an excellent starting point for anyone who wants to understand string sizing in PV systems. Sean White’s explanations are clear, practical, and easy to follow. I now feel confident calculating the correct number of solar modules in series for different environmental conditions. Highly recommended for students and professionals in renewable energy!

I graduated HS in 1989, I've been involved in the Electrical industry since December 1995. I've been on every jobsite except nuclear. "powerhouses" I'm the master Electrician with a Roofing/solar company. February 2024, I entered into "new territory" with Solar, batteries, wind etc. I'm so happy that my employer encouraged me to take my NABCEP - PVIP. I've taken the exam twice and failed (grades 49 then 62. This is because I didn't understand the Calculations. I highly recommend this course because "now" I'm very comfortable, and confident that I'll be able to perform the calculations by "knowing" the steps. Thankyou Sean and HeatSpring
