I believe this is an excellent course for anyone stepping into large-scale solar O&M, as well as for those already working in the field who haven’t had formal, high-quality training to support their experience. If you’ve been learning by doing, this course will likely make a lot of things click. The instructors are clearly knowledgeable, and just as importantly, they present the material in a way that’s practical and directly applicable to real-world troubleshooting. The content is well-structured, easy to follow, and stays focused on what actually matters in the field. I’d strongly recommend this course to both newcomers to utility-scale O&M and experienced technicians or managers looking to strengthen and sharpen their understanding of ground-fault troubleshooting.
Good content, I have been doing O&M for 2 years and this training and all the information is accurate and its a good refresher on troubleshooting.
course is very informative
Good reinforcement of the challenging yet critical ground fault troubleshooting process. The training starts with the basics and builds from there, capturing many different examples and how they differ in the field and on paper. Great course, I would highly recommend for new technicians or as a refresher for senior technicians.
one of the most useful courses for solar technicians
Thank you great course.
We get a lot of mixed information regarding mating connectors. Some suggest you only use connectors matching manufactured connectors and others state if you replace both of the mating connectors there is no conflict. What is your take on this question???
If you’re someone who likes to know the “why”then this is for you. You’ll feel so much more confident about diagnosing and repairing ground faults after you go through this course.
I had a bunch of questions going into the course and I feel like they were all answered. I feel more prepared going into a ground fault issue now.
