What should I do if something goes wrong on my NABCEP exam day?

Here are three things to check before your exam to avoid common issues:

  1. Your name on your NABCEP account must match the ID you'll present to the proctor. If there's a discrepancy, email NABCEP as early as possible so they can coordinate a name change with Meazure Learning before your exam time.
  2. Double-check your exam date and time. Candidates who show up on the wrong date are typically counted as a no-show. Add your exam to your personal calendar after scheduling.
  3. Test your computer system before exam day. Your Notice to Schedule (NTS) email includes system requirements and a link to test your setup in advance. This is especially important for work computers or Chromebooks, which can have compatibility issues with the proctoring software.

For emergencies like illness or a family crisis, contact NABCEP directly. Some situations may allow for rescheduling at no cost or reduced cost, reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A doctor's note or other documentation may be required.
