Competent Person Fall Protection Training is Now Included With Pro
When students purchase a course, they get one year of access to the course materials. After that year ends, students can extend access with HeatSpring Plus, formerly called HeatSpring Membership. Plus costs $24/month and unlocks all of a student's past paid courses. It also includes certificates of completion for free courses.
Why we created Plus
Many students keep returning to their courses months or even years after taking them, which speaks to the value of the material. That ongoing use also carries real costs for hosting, video streaming, and file downloads. Plus covers those costs while giving students a simple way to keep learning from courses they've already paid for.
Only students who paid to enroll in a course, and whose year of access has ended, can access that course through Plus.
How instructor payouts work
Plus revenue is split 50/50 between HeatSpring and instructors, after credit card processing fees. The instructor half is divided among all instructors whose courses are in that student's account when they start their Plus subscription.
For example, a student with 3 paid courses from 3 different instructors starts Plus. After processing fees, half of that student's monthly Plus payment goes to HeatSpring, and the other half is split among those 3 instructors.
This means you earn passive, recurring revenue from past students who continue to use your courses.
