How does HeatSpring qualify trainees for the Illinois Solar for All program?

Illinois Solar for All has qualified HeatSpring as an Other Qualifying Program (OQP), because completing our coursework would lead an eligible trainee to become a Qualified Person under the Illinois Adm. Code 468.20 as listed in the Illinois Solar for All Approved Vender Manual .

To be considered an eligible trainee, students must complete at least 50% of our 58-Hour Advanced PV Certification Training Series, which prepares students to take the NABCEP PV Installation Professional (PVIP) exam. This series includes the Solar PV Boot Camp + NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep and the 40-Hour NABCEP Advanced PV Certification Training and CEUs.

To be 50% complete, students must fully complete the Solar PV Boot Camp + NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep course and complete all the way through to the end of Module 1 of the 40-Hour NABCEP Advanced PV Certification Training and CEUs course. If you have any questions about what qualifies within the Illinois Solar for All program, reach out to us at support@heatspring.com.
