Dr. Gary Phetteplace, PE spent 32 years with the US Army Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory where he studied geothermal heat pump applications for the military. His work at Fort Polk, Louisiana paved the way for one of the largest and most successful ground-source heat pump projects in the world.
