This training course is a three day comprehensive course focused on the installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems. The course includes an open book exam to become an IGSHPA Accredited Geothermal Installer.

Attendance is generally made up of HVAC contractors, drillers, builders, plumbers, engineers and contracting business owners looking to take advantage of the huge market growth happing in the geothermal industry. Jared Horn

Geo-Connections, Inc

Jared Horn is a Mechanical Engineer at GeoPro, Inc. and is a co-founder of Geo-Connections, Inc both in Elkton, SD. He has been involved with the ground source heat pump industry for several years. His involvement with the industry has included providing technical support for thermally enhanced grouting products, training all types of individuals to become accredited geothermal installers, as well as designing, installing, starting up, and troubleshooting several geothermal systems.

Jared received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. He believes the key to steering the geothermal industry toward the mainstream is a large workforce of well trained professionals ready to meet the consumer’s needs.
